I'm 5"6, 205lbs, mostly hips and thighs. I bought a XL and it fit PERFECTLY. The material is nice and stretchy without feeling cheap and it's nice and long for heels. I got so many compliments that I'm buying two more!! UPDATE: I bought a large in the circle print with the mindset to lose 20lbs and I love it too!! It fits now but I know it'll be even better with a few lbs off. It's made the same as the geometric one.
