The stand works well with the HSI flat iron. It enables me to work with my hair without having to worry about sitting a hot appliance on my ceramic sink or on my ceramic toilet bowl top. After doing my hair, I leave the flat iron in the stand until the appliance cools. The stand stays where I put it. It does not slide around. It has some suction cups at the bottom. I have been very pleased with both the HSI flat iron and the HSI iron stand.
