This night light is quite dim, but in the right location under the right circumstances that is just fine. It probably shouldn't be considered if you plan to light up a small to mid size guest bathroom. Say enough light so you can wash your hands and use the toilet. It would work if you have an outlet right next to the toilet for example. We do have such a location and this worked well for us in our upstairs bathroom that my daughter uses. It produces just enough light to be helpful and a color that is not jarring. The other great things are the finish looks very nice and is probably the only night light to have a flickering candle effect. I've attached a video and some pictures to help make your choice.
