Having taken a specific Turmeric capsule formula high in Curcuminoids and seeing great results with less pain and inflammation, I was intrigued when I came across this liquid formula and wondered if it could possibly help as much. When I find something that helps, it's difficult for me to contemplate trying something new and taking the chance of being worse off than when I began. However, I also get tired of taking high amounts of capsules and there is always the chance something different might actually work better. Needless to say, I was intrigued enough to try. Let me see if I can explain what I know of the process I've undergone. Using the Turmeric formula I've become accustomed to, I'm getting Turmeric Root Powder plus Turmeric Root Extract that is standardized to at least 95% Curcuminoids. My formulas have also included Bioperine because it is known in many studies to enhance absorption in supplements and Turmeric is known to be difficult to absorb into one's system. Due to my levels of pain and inflammation, I can't use just 3 capsules and get good relief. I generally have to take more. In using it, I have found much relief and help but it does not entirely relieve my pain. In reality, relieving daily chronic pain at high levels is not an easy task for any supplement to accomplish. With this formula, if I understand it correctly, the entirety of the Turmeric product is used. Turmeric has many other beneficial constituents in it besides Curcuminoids which are known to be healing, but one has to find a way to be able to absorb them and gain the benefits. I decided I would try this new formula but would begin by taking my full dosage of Turmeric capsules along with it and taper down slowly enough so that hopefully once I was off the capsules, I would not have a huge amount of pain come flooding back at me quickly. If I understand the process at all, and I'm still quite sketchy on the details, the liquid Turmeric is entrapped in Liposomes which are made from non-GMO phospholipids. This apparently encapsulates the Turmeric making it more bio-available to the body. Naturally, in liquid form, one's body is going to take it in and disperse it easier than in capsule form. Plus, it is being delivered in such a way that it goes directly into the cells. Since this formula also contains Fulvic Acid, one achieves even more of a nutrient booster so it is more easily absorbed and gets into the cells to work faster and more efficiently. Fulvic Acid, according to what I've learned, has the ability to improve gut health which translates to helping the body absorb nutrients better and if one has a leaky gut, it will also help improve it. If one has an unhealthy gut, they are going to be unhealthy. It also helps restore the body to a more optimal pH level which is known to be beneficial to better health. It actually helps in many other ways too so taking or using Fulvic Acid is a good thing. This formula is made with Pure Turmeric Extract (again, non-GMO, made in the USA, no additives) and because it utilizes the Liposomes and Fulvic Acid it makes it bio-active. It is recommended to take 2 ml per day. I take 1 ml in the morning with breakfast and 1 ml with my evening meal and usually try to take it mid-meal. After about 4 days of being completely off the Turmeric capsules I'd been on and only taking the PuraTHRIVE formula, I noticed something rather unique that surprised me. First of all, I'd been noticing no ill effects for the 4 days without the capsules. I couldn't have gone without them previously without full blown inflammation and pain returning. On that fourth day, I noticed something unique that shocked me! I walked faster and had less pain doing so. I didn't even realize it happened until I had let one of our dogs in the house and went and sat down. I sat there thinking how fast I'd accomplished this task compared to normal. After that, I kept paying attention to my general walking abilities and they were definitely improved. I was walking faster and was far more mobile. My head feels clearer. I'm not out of the woods yet as far as pain goes, but the inflammation has lessened even more. I've felt more fluid come off my body and I don't think I'm aching as badly. In the short time, I've taken this formula, I'm impressed with the results. I do find it a bit expensive, but when I consider how many capsules I was taking and the cost of those, the cost is not much different. Providing I take 2 ml per day, it is supposed to last 30 days. It's a bit difficult to see exactly how much you are getting in the dropper even though it has markings on it simply because the color of the liquid distorts it a bit. This is easy to take. I don't find it to really have any taste. I take it in pure water. At this point, I am extremely satisfied with the results and I'm anxious to see if taking it longer will produce better effects. I'm thinking it will simply because as it gets into my cells more efficiently it will be repairing cells to the point I will hopefully see huge benefits as time goes on. I was given the opportunity to review this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. UPDATE: I did recently purchase another bottle of the PuraTHRIVE Liquid Turmeric Extract at full price because it indeed has been of help to me. The fact that it is Liposomal Turmeric with Fulvic Acid, makes it work more effectively in the body. I'm not quite sure yet if I require a higher dosage or if it is just going to take more time as it works in my body and repairs it in order to be totally effective at the dosage I've been on. There is much repair work to do thus, only time will tell.
