You never realize what you’re missing out on until you experience it. That seems fitting for this thermometer. I was never big on cooking thermometers. I always used the $5 specials from the store and never really expected much in terms of accuracy. I was going to buy one of the $100 ones that a few websites recommended, but this model came in as a contender on all the review sites. I am totally amazed. It’s fast. It’s accurate. It is durable. It sticks to the fridge. It’ll last a lifetime. I use this thing a lot when grilling and it’s changed the game for me. Grilled chicken is no longer gross and stringy – it’s nice and perfectly done. I can test a few spots in seconds without waiting and can assess a multiple pieces of meat to perfection. I never thought I’d praise a thermometer, but this is worth it.
