To give you a weightestimate, this bag has to weigh close to 3 pounds or more. We counted over 1000 pieces. I was expecting another tiny bag with tons of tiny pieces. I got barely, if any small pieces, which is what I was looking for. Bag was alot bigger than pictured with huge pieces for building houses!! BUT Based upon other reviews stating the pieces break easily, I decided to test each piece myself and put them through the MoM test! I took every piece from the bag and tried to purposely bend them to break them. Well most of the pieces were heavy duty like legos, thick, and wouldnt break, but.... the long flat ones were easily breakable and snapped right in half (about 15 pieces total in the bag). With the amount of blocks I received and recieving more than the amount expected minus these, its a good deal. But I will post all pics to help you decide!!!! :-)
