Great Rower, great Value.
Since there weren’t many reviews I wanted to take time to write about this purchase. I researched endlessly for a water rowing machine. Even though some others had more reviews with decent ratings I was convinced this was the better value. It was a great choice. First, arrived quickly, packaging was top notch, assembly was a breeze with orderly packaging and good instructions. 30 minutes- Done! I have used Concept2 rowers at gyms. They are the standard commercial rower. Air not water. 10 resistance settings. I never felt like 10 was enough resistance. This Merax did not disappoint. Good sturdy design that allows 6 water level settings. Level 3 is a solid workout with room to grow. Smooth operation. Well built. Some have expressed disappointment with the LCD screen. I found it to be everything I needed. Works well and positioned well for use and viewing while rowing. I’ve been using this rower for a week. I will update with any changes. For now I would highly recommend. Oh, the price is a good value for the product. No regrets. 30 day update: still very satisfied. Everything I wanted in a rower. I’ve had great complements from others who have tried mine who use commercial gym equipment. One year review: I still row 3-4 times a week. Works as well today as it did on day one. No disappointments. Industry says a rower works 85% of your muscles and I wouldn’t disagree. Very good cardio, strength training and toning all without bone and joint jarring discomfort. I am 61 years young and this rower is a solid part of my routine. I am 6 foot and 180 lbs, 24% BMI, 13.9% body fat. My rower would be the one piece of equipment I wouldn’t give up.
