I've been looking around for a good tourmaline ceramic curling iron and went with this one for now because of the low price. I do like it and as far as I can tell it does not seem to damage my hair. Maybe in the future I'll go with a pricier one but for now this one seems to do just fine. Pros: - heats up fast and has different heat settings - the protective cover comes in handy - can't beat the price - tourmaline ceramic - better than just ceramic or worse, bare metal - looks nice - swivel cord - auto shut off Cons: - the on/off switch is in a bad spot on the handle.. I am constantly shutting off the iron by accident - the cool tip is not long enough to hold onto, making it easy to burn your fingers - I honestly have not had this iron more than a week so I can't say there aren't more cons but I'll update this if I do find any
