3 years of stress over
This is going to be pretty long because I want you to understand the pain I went through before finding this stuff. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the itching didn't stop completely. This stuff is like a miracle in a bottle. I have a 3 year old pink nose pitbull who I've had since she was 4 months old. She's completely white except for a few brown spots. A few months after receiving her her skin started to break out, so to speak. She started scratching incessantly. It was so bad that she started to scratch sores into her skin. I was with Petsmart and their veterinarian plan at the time so I took her to the vet because I didn't know what was wrong. Yeah, I know. Dumb idea. I was knew to having my own dog to care for so I panicked. I thought the vets at Petsmart knew what they were talking about and would know what's wrong. I knew it wasn't fleas. The vet did multiple skin scrapes and tests on multiple occasions and finally told me "I guess she's allergic to something. Change her food." He then proceeded to give me a "prescription" for science diet. A 15lb bag cost over $60. Are you insane? I love my dog but I be d****d If she eats caviar while I'm having cereal. Anyway, for the next year I went to them. She flares up during the changing seasons (fall and spring) and it lingers in summer. 3 vets and no one could tell me what's wrong. "She doesn't have mange. It's not a food allergy. Maybe a flea allergy? She doesn't have fleas? Sorry, kid. Take this car note of a bill and buy her some incessant things and hope for the best." I found a store called Tractor Supply and one of the employees suggested to me that she may have a flea allergy despite not having fleas. I was told to give her some Benadryl. I did and her scratching lessened but was still there. She had lost her hair where she scratched and Benadryl wasn't fixing everything. Back to Tractor Supply, I ran into a breeder who watched me and my dog in the store as I was deciding what to try to buy for her. He asked me was I looking for something for her spots. I said yes. He asked why I was looking for flea stuff when she has hotspots. I didn't know what a hotspot was. He explained it and told me that I needed this stuff called Nu Stock. He said "it's going to stink but put it on her every 3 days and her hair will grow back and she should stop scratching." I'm a desperate woman now. I'll try anything. I ordered it and I'm am amazed!!! Her skin turned back to its natural color and her hair has grown in so fast! She still scratches some so I do give her Benadryl every now and again but my dog is starting to look like my dog again! After 3 years and thousands of dollars spent trying to help her this magic I'm a large tube comes along. I can't thank the makers of this stuff enough. The pictures I'll attach are roughly 2 weeks apart. From the day her hotspots got out of control to her sleeping on my bed at this moment as I write this review. Please note that she looks yellow in the after pictures due to the Nu Stock. The stuff is thick like toothpaste and takes 2-3 days to wipe off. I apply it at night so she can sleep in her kennel with it and not track it all over the house. It starts to flake off the next day. Pros: Works fast Works effectively Hair immediately begins to grow back Itching subsides a little Best solution for a small budget Cons: Has a very strong sulfuric smell Leaves fur discolored (but who cares if it works?) A bit messy. Thick like toothpaste.
