Being a nurse, I have been wearing a mask for forty hours a week for months now. Unlike some people, I don't get sore ears. The two issues I have are my glasses fogging and the mask working it's way right up into my face and landing in my eyes when my glasses aren't on. I've tried other extenders, including the plastic ones with several hooks and ribbons with buttons sewn on. This beats all of those. Here's why : 1. It's easy to adjust to your needed length. Both ends adjust so it will accommodate anyone of any size. 2. If your ears get sore this will stop that. 3. I wear mine so that the loops of the mask sit below my ears. If I adjust it to a good fit, my mask stays out of my eyes. People, I have gotten an eye infection twice from this and it is not fun. Keep your mask out of your eyes. 4. Also keeping it adjusted to a snug fit and making sure the nose wire is tightly contoured helps keep your glasses from fogging. The cons --you could potentially get your hair caught in the velcro, but I have really long hair and I have not had this issue. Also, it only comes in white. White doesn't stay white for long if you sweat or have to take the mask off and on.
