This camera is exactly what I was looking for. We actually got it for safety and security of my child's treehouse. We have had abduction attempts in our neighborhood and we have had breakins to our garage. So we decided to add a little more peace of mind with a wireless camera. After I got a wifi extender for the porch, it uses that signal for the security camera. It isn't a super strong signal from across the yard, but it is enough to still work. I included screen captures of the view inside the playhouse during the day, and at night, so you can see the night vision feature. It is very clear high resolution quality. When he leaves the playhouse, we "arm" the camera motion sensor. It has a loud alarm and bright light option. You can adjust the length the alarm sound and the sensitivity level. Upon motion detecting, it sends an alert to my phone and starts recording. You can use an sd memory card for storage or purchase the monthly cloud storage subscription that has a month free trial. You can view the camera easily from the Vicoo app. You can also press on the screen to have 2 way audio. I really appreciate that feature a lot. It works like a walky talky when I need to call him in from play. The camera mounts via a very strong magnet onto the mounting bracket. We screwed in the bracket though. The charge lasts a couple weeks if you don't have the video on all the time. To charge it, there is a dust protection flap over the charging port, and you just remove the camera, charge it for a couple hours, then pop it back onto the mount. I may look into a solar charging device add on in the future, but at this time, it works great and I am thrilled with how well it functions for our family.
