I had a bunch of Visa gift cards with random small amounts and was having trouble figuring out how to use the exact amount on the cards, especially when they get under $10. I figured out I could consolidate all these random low-balance Visa gift cards into my Amazon Gift Card balance because it allows you to type in the exact amount you want to load. I had a bunch of these on my desk at home with random balances mostly under $10. I got the exact balances on these cards from the Visa gift card website, and just went through them one by one using the Amazon Gift Card Balance Reload. Easily reclaimed about $25. Since I do most of my shopping on Amazon, it's as good as finding random cash in the laundry!
