Powerful-NO Convenient-Yes
Let's be clear, this vacuum is about convenience not performance. It is small, light weight and very ergonomically designed allowing the hose and tools to be cleverly integrated into the body without protrusions. It is perfect for bringing to the job site when I just have a small job to do. For example if I have to cut a hole in drywall I don't have to drag out the shop vac to clean up the mess. It is relatively easy to service too. The filter twists off and you can tap it against the trash can to clean.
As far as performance this vacuum does OK at best. Easily picks up light stuff like drywall dust or wood shavings. But not enough power to run a floor sweep or pick up metal items like screws and nails easily. I pitted it against my other shop vacuums with a gauge. As you can see from the pictures it has about half of the vacuum pull as my go to job-site shop vac. And 1/4 or less than the, king of the shop Festool extractor. Still it is a lot easier to deal with for a one day job where I'm in and out.
