As a professional groomer for 13 years as of this writing, I've tried a lot of different scents from a lot of different brands. I have my favorites, but was looking to try something new, and I'm very pleased with the Bodhi Dog baby powder scent! It's a lovely smell -- strong but not overpowering (I have a pretty sensitive nose, can't linger in Bath and Body Works for more than a minute or two but this cologne doesn't bother me), nice and clean with just a hint of a sweet, flowery sort of aroma. My customers have definitely reacted positively, too! Today I saw one of them at the grocery store and she stopped me to ask what cologne I had used on her dog because it still smelled nice even several days after the groom. I've tried it on my own pup, and the scent definitely does linger nicely! It doesn't leave any kind of residue at all -- no grossness or stickiness -- and the spray nozzle emits a fine mist that's absolutely perfect. (Some brands are prone to faulty, cheap spray nozzles that will spray too much liquid all over a finished groom, messing up the coat and wasting product, but not this one!) The bottle seems fairly durable for plastic, too. I dropped it the other day on a hard tile floor and the bottle didn't break, nor did the spray nozzle pop off. I only wish I could get it in a larger bottle for a reasonable price. The 4 oz. will be plenty for anyone just looking to give their pet an occasional spritz at home, but a full-time groomer is going to burn through these little bottles super fast!
