I previously owned the unit that cost me $50.00. It lasted a couple of years and no longer held a charge. When I went to buy a replacement, the cost was $62.50!! I said no way and then I found this one. Features are actually better since you can see how much soap is left in the tank. I also like that you can control the amount of soap dispensed each time. Runs on 2 double A batteries and does not have to be recharged. Much better deal, much better product and certainly, much better price.
