Could have got another inexpensive but functional synthethic gym-bag-equivalent that I've been content with over the years but decided to splurge, purchasing this along with the distressed leather toiletries bag. Don't know the first thing about leather, but first impression is that they'll last forever...like a favorite old cast iron skillet. They look great! Like they've been traveling the world for the last century. Spent the last weekend in the hospital, the staff commented how they liked them.
