After buying 3 different types of nipples (hmm...anywhere else and that statement would sound really odd) - and having all of them fail, I was at the end of my rope. My chickens were dried up little nuggets during the days that I'd forget to put out a bowl of water, as the only other option was to leave the hose running all day (having twice flooded my basement, the insurance company offered me the ultimatum of getting rid of the chickens or getting rid of the hose). These little cups are genius...maybe not Buckminster Fuller genius, but certainly like lower-level genius (like maybe Brainy-Smurf, or one of the kids who sits in the back of the class in the Harry Potter movies, who ends up getting like pretty good grades, but nobody notices him, and also he doesn't have to have those wand-fights). Simply drill a hole into whatever you are filling up with liquid and thread these in. I should clarify...don't drill holes in just "anything"...like glass: no drilling. Human body parts: definitely no drilling. Dirt: you can drill into dirt, but even Bear Grylls cant get much liquid from that, so I guess don't bother. So just drill a hole in a bucket, then thread the little cup in there. Fill the bucket with water, and let the birds have at it. OR fill it with Gatorade and then dump the bucket on top of the MVP chicken. They'll all squawk and fly around, but secretly that one bird will love all the attention, because...hey: MVP, right?! Don't fill the bucket with Mtn Dew or Monster Energy, or your chickens will start doing extreme stunts (and they may get pretty mouthy...I may not be able to forget some of the hurtful things that Princess Buttercup said to me) Anyway - don't read any of this (it'll only make you dumber)...just buy these things and follow the instructions that they come with (they'll make you seem smarter...unless you just read all of this, in which case the dumber/smarter will just cancel each other out, and you'll simply have the same level of intelligence before you bought/read...hopefully smarter than that smug smurf, anyway)
