Samsung makes a high quality panel for this set and calls it Version TS01; however it also outsources some of its panels known as a "panel lottery" on the internet. Alternate panel sources are AU Optronics and others and while the Model number is UN65JS9500, the Version number shown on the shipping box and on the back of the HDTV panel will not be Version TS01; meaning the set likely has a lower quality panel and is possibly of inferior quality. It may also use a lower quality processor. Some sellers that have this set priced substantially below that shown at stores like Best Buy or online sellers like Amazon are suspect in this regard. It is extremely important to order this set by BOTH the model number AND the version number to assure you are buying a set with the original high quality Samsung manufactured electronics and panel. Several negative reviews on this site are likely sets with the non-Samsung components even though the model number is the same. I purchased this set with a TS01 panel and it has the best picture I have viewed on any of the new 2015 4K sets. Let the buyer beware - do some investigation before completing your purchase.
