Truly a revolution in making vacuuming easy.
It is hard to image that I would think a compact and lightweight - essentially handheld - vacuum would better than my previous Dyson-like vacuum, but I do. The Shark Rocket TruePet UltraLight Upright vacuum is quite the swiss army knife of vacuums. The main configuration is that of an Upright, as the name implies, and sleek and easy to use one at that. It is very comfortable to use, glides easily across all the floor surfaces I've used it on, and angles in ways a traditional upgrade could never do reaching deep dark places where dust likes to congregate. But, beyond the upright, this vacuum is also a bare floor duster/vacuum with a separate, interchangeable head that includes a washable fiber duster. It is also a portable vacuum with three attachments: a crevice tool, a bare head, and a brush head. All of which attach to either the long central tube of the upright where it can then reach high locations, or the central tube can be removed and the attachments can connect directly to body for a small and lightweight handheld for the car, etc. This version of the Rocket also includes the TruePet attachment, which is specifically designed for deep cleaning of embedded pet hair. Out of the box, it was easy to assemble and put to use and we immediately vacuumed the pet hair infested living room. It sucked up everything and left a clean carpet in short order. It has worked well on all the floor surfaces we've tried and does a great job of sucking things up. It is also easy to empty the tank. The only issue we've had with it and hence the four stars instead of five, is that the main head really wraps pet hair around the rotating brush. It is easy to access and clean, but will need it more often than our previous vacuum.
