Save money, sanitary, no stink, period sex
I have been using menstrual cups for over 10 years, and these are by far the best! As you can see, these hold over 2x as much fluid as my Diva Cup, I use a new one every period (same one for the whole period then throw it away, dump discharge in toilet and rinse or wipe with TP depending on what is available) so these look WAY better, and one box lasts for over a year! On heavy days, I wear a light pad just in case, but had to do that with tampons and DC too. Love that hubby and I can still be intimate during my time of the month (empty it out right before just in case), like that I can put one of these in when I am about to start my period and don't have to worry about my period starting with a big mess. Comparing the Diva Cup to this, the part that is inserted (see instructions on the and of EVERY BOX) is smaller than the Diva Cup, total length is a little more but because of how these work, they are more comfortable than the DC, plus no terrible discoloring because of years of use. These are the same as Soft Cups (old name) except for the box. I will buy these for the rest of my life, and suggest them to all my friends! Advantages Save money, cheaper than Diva Cup that needs replacing every 3 years ($40, vs $25 for 3 years of Soft Disc) and tampons or pads that cost about $10 per month ($360 vs $25 SC) Can have sex while wearing = period sex More sanitary than DC - new cup for each period Easy to keep where needed (work, purse, car, etc) Holds 2.5x as much as DC No TSS (advantage over tampon) More eco friendly than tampons or pads Great for swimming, running, active life Never smells bad More comfortable than tampons, and other menstrual cups when properly inserted Down side You might have to learn a new way to insert you menstrual cup because these are put in differently than Diva cups and tampons Might take a couple of hours to get used to the feel the first time you use them (took me a little time to readjust after having my first baby) Messy like other menstrual cups (especially if not taken out correctly) Will save so much money, you might not know what to do with the saved money Eliminates excuse of "I'm on my period and can't have sex" (don't worry, headache excuse is still untouched ;)
