READ ME!!!!! Seriously won’t regret it. Things that I wish I would’ve known before I bought this product... $20 for smart bulbs is a great deal, but I almost regretted it. I spent a whole day trying to figure these things out and I went back and read the reviews and realized many other people had a hard time installing these too. I wanted these to work so bad though!! So I called customer service. A rep named Sharon hung up on me three times and although I was encouraged to write an email or wait on the line for approximately 12 mins each time I found that it was more like 5 mins each time. I finally got a different rep who transferred me and walked me through it one more time. This is what I learned. Once you downloaded the app and installed the light bulb, if the “easy” installation didn’t pan out for you even after switching your WiFi to 2G, TRY THIS Turn on and off the switch five times. If the light starts blinking slow this is an indication that you should do the advanced installation method and the app basically walks you through it. If the light blinks fast it won’t pop up when it asks you to find the devices hotspot, it HAS to flash slowly. Do this to all the light bulbs. They WILL work. I promise!! They work perfectly with my google home now, and if your adding more than one bulb to a fixture, you have to individually connect them and add them to a specific room on your google home app in order to ask google to turn off all the lights on a specific fixture or room, otherwise it’ll only turn one on at a time. If someone had figured this out and posted it on a review, it would’ve saved me many phone calls and my afternoon. Hope someone out there appreciates this!! :) this ended up being a really good buy if you want a smart home but don’t wanna buy the more expensive ones.
