Works Very Well
I work in an grooming salon, and I've used these clippers for about six months solid, doing at least 20 dogs/week. They've held up the whole time, and are still sharp enough to get a clean cut every time. They're nice and small/lightweight, so trimming small nails is easy, but they also open up surprisingly wide, allowing really big nails to fit inside. The guard is kind of annoying because every dog's nails are different and for some it wouldn't cut enough and for some it'd cut too much, but I just push it to the side and don't use it. I highly recommend these clippers for either home or professional use, and if you want the best success in trimming your dog's nails, I suggest giving him/her a bath first, then clipping the nails when they're still wet...it makes them much easier to shave down and avoids the crunching and crushing/splitting thing I've heard other people complain about.
