Good Pocket Pick Me Up
So this product is advertised as a Energy + Focus Amplifier. I [probably] have ADHD, and playing video games are the only time where I can really stay focused on one thing. When people ask me what this is, I tell them, "it's like essential oils in a lip balm tube". Does this product work? Well, I'm not sure there's a good way to quantify that, but I'll tell you that on a Monday morning when you're feeling groggy, maybe even hungover, this thing will definitely give you the boost you need to start the day! The smell is very strong; imagine chewing some Wrigley's Double Mint gum, spitting onto a cotton swab, and sticking it in your nose. It's about that strong of a smell. It's not bad by any means, but it is a bit rough, like a shot of bottom shelf whiskey you order to get yourself ready before the rest of the people arrive for your 10 year anniversary class reunion. On the plus side, it will clear your sinuses right up! I was worried that it wouldn't last that long, but I've been using a single stick every day, probably at least 8 separate "doses" a day, for the past week, and it still has the same strength as when I first opened it. Now if you're anything like me and lived in an Asian-American household raised by first-generation immigrants, you'll find the sensation very nostalgic. Does rubbing Vick's Vapor Rub on your top lip ring a bell? I bought a pack of these kind of as a meme, but they're legitimately useful, and I will probably end up getting more in the future! Here's to hoping they come out with more flavors/scents!
