I wanted to buy DHC Velvet Skin Coat after loving the sample I received in the mail. I saw the review here that said it had the exact same ingredients as Lanacane Gel. I ordered it (the VSC) anyway, but also bought a tube of Lanacane Gel (paid $6.99 for one ounce). The Lanacane Gel contains corn starch, which VSC does not, but they are, otherwise, pretty similar. I used each on half my face. Both the immediate results and longer term (acting as a base for my make-up)were the same. I gave it 5 stars because I do love the results. Just know you can get the same results for less money with the Lanacane.
