My workplace did a fitness challenge and gave me a pedometer that only worked when attached vertically to my waistband. It kept on falling off when I did anything really active. So I purchased this pedometer -- the Omron HJ-320. I love it! It seems about half the thickness of the one that was so inconvenient, and the best thing is that I can keep it in my pocket! Also, UNLIKE the other pedometer I had tried first, the Omron HJ-320 does not mistake driving for walking. I'm amazed at how accurate this little thing is. Also, I've dropped it accidentally a few times onto hard floors, and it has withstood that without any apparent loss of accuracy.
