Great for shoes that fit a bit too big, but they make them kind of tight
I purchased these for a few pairs of heels that I have. The shoes fit okay when I bought them, but then later on I realized I couldn't walk in them without the shoe flopping off my foot like a flip flop. Pretty dangerous in stilettos! I guess my feet were swollen when I tried them on in the store. These fixed the problem by adding a bit more in the back, but they are now kind of tight. Not too uncomfortable, though. I'm hoping in time they will break in a little bit. The thing you need to know, is that for them to work, you have to put the grip up high on the back of the shoe. Not down lower where you would think they would work best. They have to be almost flush with the top of the shoe. They won't work if you put them lower down in the heel. They are super sticky, so make sure you get a good placement the first time. I had to peel one off the shoe & place it a second time. I'm worried the adhesive is weakened now. I purchased a few extras, & recommend you do too, because I tend to mess everything up LOL. I read a lot of reviews & looked at a bunch of similar products before purchasing these. Bottom line: I'm glad I did. They may not work for you if your shoes are a teensy tiny bit too big. I'm estimating that both pairs of my shoes were about a half size too big. These saved my shoes that I couldn't even wear before. Thanks, Pedaq! If you have any questions, I'll definitely respond to comments.
