My baby really enjoys chewing on these spoons. He can use them pretty well. they're easy to hold onto and hold enough food for him to get it in his mouth. He six months old by the way. The package does warn that food causes discoloration. One serving of sweet potatoes discolored ours. The reason I gave these three stars is because they have tiny little holes that the food gets stuck in and even soaking it does not get it out. I have to squeeze them like a zit to get the food out and some still stays in. I then have to pick it out with a toothpick. Why they thought they should put tiny little holes on a spoon is beyond me. I would not buy these again. Update: the Company contacted me and sent me new production line Company contacted me and sent me new production line spoons. The spoons do not have holes in them. I was very please with the quick response from the company.
