Usually skin-care products that are in a jar like this are on the thicker side. I suppose I was mistaken to assume this as it poured out all over me upon opening. The viscosity can be compared to pudding, a liquid. I guess I was just under the impression that if it was going to be a liquid it would have some sort of seal on it. That's okay, my mistake. Aside from this unfortunate event, the product smells nice and I was excited to use it because I have a very dry patch on my chin. It is a little difficult to blend in, so I would recommend using a smaller amount. Based on my first use, I think daily application of this product would be quite effective, as just one softened my skin. My skin is also very sensitive, and seemingly did not react poorly. Be careful though, fabric absorbs it and doesn't let go
