I read reviews that said the battery life was horrible. I figured that the newest Apple Watch couldn’t possibly have bad battery life, hoping Apple would have made the battery in their products better. I was wrong. I fully charged it before wearing and within two hours I was alerted to the low battery. I wasn’t ecstatic about the “always on display” to begin with so I knew I was going to turn it off even before purchasing. The battery was still bad after doing so. They I read black displays use less battery than colorful displays, changed it and still the battery wasn’t ideal. I was about to look into returning and purchasing the 3 (which I had upgraded from but would happily go back to for the battery). One last shot I had was to turn off the option where the screen wakes when it’s raised. I don’t mind tapping the screen to wake so that was my last resort. It worked and now I can get 2-3 days out of it before needing to charge depending on activity level.
