I'm a wedding photographer so I spend a lot of time at my desk, I had a taller desk built so I can stand and work or sit when my legs get tired, and this stool suits my needs perfectly, I'm no small guy at 6'00 tall and 290lbs I was concerned the stool would give out quickly, and for as much as I use it, this thing has held up and still feels like it's new.
