I read the reviews beofre buying this heating pad. I was a little worried because some people said it didn't heat up very hot. I got this in yesterday, mainly for my husband who has back pain. He was using a softheat pad, which worked good, he needed a larger one to cover his whole back. The sunbeam pad is really soft! Like a Terry cloth towel. I absolutely love the fact you can have either continuous on, or a two hour shut off. When my husband got home, he tried it, and he said this was the best thing he's gotten in years!! He is 5'11" and it went from his lower back to his neck. It also gets really hot! And he said it's the same temp all over, even the edges. And it doesn't have a pad cover, so there's no bunching. It's not made of that cheap plastic inside like other ones are. And it's very flexible, he put it on his shoulder and back. He's very picky, so if he loves this heating pad, that's really saying something!! The pics below are showing the size compared to a regular one.
