These work well for the purpose I purchased them. I give my cat one treat at night (half of the serving suggestions), and he mellows out and I can sleep. He insists on staying up all night, but he thinks that means I need to stay up all night; he will jump on and off of the bed all night, pounce on me, use my head as a stool to look out the window behind the bed, meow, poke my face or even yowl if I try to sleep during the night. But with the one calming treat before bed.. He mellows out and alternates between lounging and light play by himself-- and lets me sleep!
