Such an easy installation. We used this to upgrade our Honeywell Wi-Fi 9000 thermostat. It works like any typical thermostat, but with the additional features of: -Control your thermostat while away from the house with your phone -Sets the thermostat to away/home based on the location of your phone(s) - Geo-fencing feature The geo-fencing feature is the best aspect of this thermostat. It has worked flawlessly for us. I have it setup to use mine and my wife's phone as triggers based on our arrival/departure. As long as one of us is in the home, the thermostat stays in "Home" mode. We have to both leave for it to go to "Away." Only potential drawback to this setup would be if we both left leaving the kids at home with a sitter. It would put the thermostat in "Away" mode and might get too cool/warm based on the season. This does not have the potential to occur often, and is easily over-ridden by anyone in the home adjusting the thermostat. Not enough of a negative feature to take anything away from the thermostat.
