This extender did exactly as it is supposed to. Good, strong signal to the garage, which was a dead zone. We thought our wifi-controlled garage security camera was broken because it kept going offline. Turned out it was because of the TP link extender not working correctly. (Do not recommend those!) Got this one, and paired it with the camera, and the camera started working again! Saved us money on buying a new camera and the garage has a strong signal.
