So far so good!
I've only had the rower for about 24 hours but thought I should leave a review because there aren't very many right now. I chose this rower over some others of comparable price because of its capacity to hold up to 350 lbs. I don't weigh anywhere near that but figured it would be a little more heavy duty than the other rowers I have seen that hold up to 250 lbs. The assembly was easy enough (took about 30 minutes total) though there were a couple of arc washers missing and a couple of extra rings when we were done (they simply didn't fit!). But the rower itself is a DREAM. It's WHISPER quiet and even on the first setting there's a fair amount of resistance. I'm 5'2 and I have abnormally short arms but I am able to grip the handles well without a problem. So far I haven't had an issue with the foot pedals and straps - my feet haven't slipped out at all and you can REALLY get those straps good and tight! (For reference I wear a size 8 US Women's.) One thing I will mention is you should probably wear some exercise gloves while rowing - I rowed about 500 reps last night and my hands callused, but to be fair I also have dainty hands that are used more for typing and crafting. The last thing I will mention is this rower is FUN. It's the best piece I've added to my workout room and makes watching TV a breeze because it's quiet. I will update this review if things change but for now I'd say this is a pretty solid piece of equipment!
