This book truly helped me understand what was really happening to my body. I am 12 so this review is truly reliable because of my age and what I'm going through. The images were a bit surprising though. I definitely would NOT give this book to an unprepared child. As long as parents talk to their kids beforehand, this book is acceptable. I would also say that children who have not gone into puberty should NOT read this book. plus, should be rated GIRLS ONLY. Be careful if your child has younger siblings of any gender.
