Life Hack!!! I did not want to buy the special machine to seal these bags when I own a food saver, so I ordered up these replacements and gave it a shot. Worked first time!! These bags are thinner than the food saver bags so when using it you don’t use the vacuum setting or the timed sealing setting. Just close the bag in the food saver and hit the seal only button when the light comes on just let it heat up for less than 2-3 seconds and then pop it back open. It worked like a charm! Don’t let it sit on the heater for longer because I bet you will melt it into a big mess!! When I got going I was able to place a book next to the food saver and line up 5 bags at a time allowing them to sit flush without holding them. I also let the food saver cool between uses.
