GAME CHANGING BARS
Like Indiana Jones, we (my biz partner and I) have been searching for the Holy Grail of nutrition bars for a lifetime (well, about 20 years). We're food and health coaches. We also invented a gizmo that has nothing to do with nutrition. But I digress. We've loved Orgain for years (the shakes). We even give health talks to college kids, and the good folks at Orgain have always supported these kids. We came to them simply asking for a discount years ago, as we don't take a fee for these talks and try to give these kids loads of awesome healthy stuff to take home and try along with the education to understand how to use them. They said 'whatever we needed, they had our backs.' Good company. The shakes are a proven winner, and were invented by Doctor Andrew Abraham, who had cancer, beat it, and it thriving. He was sickened by all the chemicals and preservatives laden in Ensure and other such "nutrition" drinks...so he created a balanced organic nutrition shake. And now, bars. We were skeptical when they went to bars. I first read the ingredients, and they looked so good, I thought...welp, these are gonna taste like barn paste. The balance of protein, carbs, and fat however was right in line with our philosophy, so that was cool. Made with all organic ingredients. Vegan. Soy free. Dairy free. Gluten free. Non GMO. Uses a sugar alcohol, erythritol, to help sweeten, which is the only fermented sugar alcohol, and is the only one that doesn't cause gastric distress like others. Add to that a lil' bit of sugar, and organic vegetable glycerin which also naturally sweetens without raising insulin levels. Sugar alcohol and fiber have no effect on insulin, and are not digested by the body. Therefore, you back out the fiber + erythritol to get your net carb number. Ok so blah blah blah. HOW DO THEY TASTE? I'll just come out with it. They are, to quote comedian Dave Chapelle, the SHNIZNITTLEBAMSNIPSNAPSALLY! (aka fantastic!) Every. Single. Flavor. And so filling, and the PERRRRFECT consistency. I know I know. This review sounds so fake, like the owner has dirt on us or something if we don't play ball. But let us assure you, this review is real. We ourselves sell our invention on Amazon and have NEVER paid for a review, nor given out product for the promise of a BS review. We absolutely can't stand that. And we can promise you this review is earned. As soon as we tried them, we bought 60 cases in mixed flavors, to hand out to our friends and clients. This is our MO anytime we discover something new and great. The reviews have been outstanding. S'mores seems to so far be the crowd favorite, but we have heard not a single negative review for any flavor. Some like the peanut butter the best as it's less sweet, some the cookie dough, and some the peanut butter chocolate chunk. We're telling you folks, we've tried every single bar on the market. Well, that may be a bit of a brash statement...we're sure plenty haven't necessarily crossed our radar...but we seek this stuff out. These Orgain bars are the perfect size, perfect calorie count, and great first thing in morning, for in between snacks...and for kids (and adult kids!) to take to school. You also don't need to refrigerate them. They aren't candy bars mind you, but boy are they good and totally satisfy your hunger and sweet tooth. And Orgain ain't perfect. Look I don't care for their strawberry shakes at all...yet my niece loves them so much she makes popsicles with them...go figure. But one thing we love about this company is the integrity of the people behind it, which is infused into every single product they make. We may not like all their offerings, but doesn't take away from how well they are made. But listen, I'm tellin' ya...GET THESE BARS. You can't go wrong with any flavor. Love them all. And if you don't like them guess what? Amazon has free returns! So take advantage and give them a shot. We're so excited about these things. Bet it's hard to tell huh? ;-)
