The shipping box was so heavy that I cut it open on the front walk and carried the pieces to the back yard. I assembled it myself, with my wife helping. It's heavy-duty, but not too heavy to handle. Everything fit together properly, and there were extra fasteners left over. We sprayed the top with Scotchgard for extra protection from rain and stains (it required about 2.5 cans). We'll probably take the top off in the winter. Update - We removed the fabric top for the winter, to avoid the snow building up and ripping it. The job required about 30 minutes. In Spring, we re-installed the top, and it looks great. The job again required about 30 minutes (one person and a ladder).
