Sets up easy. Enjoyable to Use.
I've been enjoying this sauna for about a week now. It's amazing how these three boxes show up on a pallet and in a couple hours or less you can be up and running (well, sitting), in your new sauna.
The sides, bottom and top come in essentially 10 panels that connect with tongue and groove construction and with latches making it easy to put together and easy to move should you ever have to. The heating panels are then screwed into the sides in appropriate places (with pre-mounted holes), and the wiring then runs through pre-drilled holes and into an electrical unit with all the cables ready to be connected. It would be easy to put it together with two people; my family was out of town, so i was able to do it with just one person.
Two people can definitely fit in inside this unit -- we've done that -- and it's really very roomy of one person sauna as well.
The temperature and time settings are easily entered on a push panel, and the built in amp and speakers is a nice touch.
The main thing is that this works as it is supposed to. When I was researching these units I was concerned about being able to generate enough heat. But pleased to say it works great. I typically run it around 125 degrees, but you can go higher if you want. Note that this temperature setting feels warmer than it sounds because of the infrared heating. Counter-intuitively, you can also rest your back up against the wood slats in front of the heating units without burning at all or getting too warm. The heating units turn out a lot of heat, but it is spread across 7 different panels -- a lot of surface area -- so there are no not spots that you need to avoid.
A relaxing addition to our home.
Hope this helps with your own decision making.
