I ordered this bag in July of 2018 it is now January of 2019. I am still just as much in love with this bag as I was the day I got it. It took about a month and a half of every day use to wear in and not be so stiff. It did have a smell when it arrived but the smell wasn't horrible, and I just put it out on my back porch to air out for the night and the smell softened. This bag is definitely real leather. After 7 Months of owning this bag, and using it every day I have only run into 2 problems. 1. The pockets on the inside tend to stretch out if you over load them, mine have stretched out, so it can be frustrating at times to put my wallet in my bag because I have a bulky wallet and it gets stuck on the pocket openings. 2. the strap is adjustable, but the extra bit of strap that is left over has started to curl a little bit, which is fine ill have to get an industrial needle and sow it down. The seller could definitely be selling this back for 80-100 dollars because the bag his high quality. This bag is one of my best purchases on amazon. I am able to carry two thick notebooks ( agenda and budget book), Taser, a pencil pouch, bulky wallet, phone + charger, Vape + charger + juice, a water bottle, and that's just in the main area. Update 4/8/19- the stitching on the zipper pocket on the back of the bag is starting to pull out. Starting to get disappointed with the purse. I bought this item with the intent of it lasting me at least 5 years, I dont see that happening at this rate. I the purses I have purchased in the past from Target seem to hold shape and last longer than this one. The inside dividers are so stretched out that I'm debating on just cutting them out so I dont have to deal with the fuss of getting things in and out of the bag easily.
