Great doggie car seat! This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a carrier that had a metal frame around the top so as not to collapse in on my dog like so many seem to. I also wanted it to have a nice firm bottom to hold my little guy up. The bottom on this is covered in a fleece like fabric, my guess is over time that will wear out. No big deal, expected with use, I will just cut a piece of foam board or something and cover it. Now I can't tell you how many reviews and products I read and searched, I couldn't find anywhere on this product any of the specific specs I was looking for. But out of what I had read it seemed like a good shot and I'm glad I did. My pup is a chihuahua mix about 10lbs he fit perfectly with plenty of room to lay down if he wants. He was nervous at first but once he realized he could see everything as I was driving he loosened up. I could even roll down the window for him with no fear of him jumping out thanks to the clip in the carrier. And he loved the breeze. Now I've only used this for a day and will update should anything change with use. I would highly recommend this product. And so far can find no cons to the product. I will probably get a fluffy blanket for it, my little dude loves fluffy blankets lol. I do quite a bit of my shopping online, particularly at Amazon, so like you I depend on reviews to be honest so I can make an informed decision.
