When our old microwave bit the dust, I had to scramble to find a replacement. Most of the microwaves had, at best, a 4 star rating, here and Amazon and elsewhere. The ones that I found with 4 1/2, were discontinued, but had the features I wanted. As my search continued, I found the discontinued model I searched for, was replaced with this model. This model also had some improvements I wanted, as the light comes on when you open the door and it has a touch pad instead of a rotary dial. The old model had a problem with Wifi in the house. I tested this unit while it was running, standing right next to it, using both 2.4 GHZ and 5.0 GHZ, and did not have any interference. This update to the previous model does everything you would want, as well as a good sound level. The Inverter System works perfectly. No longer do you have high power cycling off and on, cooking the edges of your items. I continue to explore all the features, but my initial reaction is this is a great microwave. The only complaint is that by our placing it above our oven, the LCD lights are hard to see if you aren't 6' 1" like I am. My wife is 5' 9", and she cannot see the numbers unless she stands off to the side. If you leave it on the counter, you will not have a problem.
