It's not a snug fit of the inner foam filling inside the sleeves. The fabric of the sleeve is rather thin. The Velcro feels sturdy, the end glue holds it well in place, the stitches are neat and firm. I got a pair for a double office door (pictured). I've been careful to cut it snug to reduce gaps as much as possible. I measured the sound level before (45 dB) and after (41 dB) so it was helpful in reducing the noise from outside the office. I used our Roomba on the other side of the door to similar sample noise (door open - 50 dB, if you are right on the Roomba itself it 60-70 dB depending on your model). 4 dB may not sound like much, but you need to remember it's a logarithmic scale so each 3 dB is a reduction of the noise level by half (or doubling of the level if it gets louder). Thicker fabric and a snug fit of the sleeves to the inner foam filling would have gotten it a 5 stars rating.
