The reason I bought this product is to get rid of a huge wasp nest in the ground in our backyard. I didn't want to use any chemicals in our yard because we have a little baby and three dogs and I don't want to pollute the soil and ground water. So I started looking for alternative methods of getting rid of wasps. I read on a forum that zappers worked for some people and decided to give it a try. At first, my husband hung this guy a few feet away from the nest entrance. About 10-15 wasps were dead by the end of the day. Not bad, we thought. The following day, my husband put this bad boy on a small metal ladder right next to the nest entrance. When we checked at the end of the day, I almost had Janice's "Oh My God!" moment (from Friends). Two to three hundred dead wasps! We are still fighting this war. It rained for a few days and we didn't want to keep it on under rain. And my bet is, there is a couple thousand of them in that nest. But now I feel like we're finally winning :)
