OMG!!! If I could give this case 10 stars I would. Who would think that military grade is really military grade in a consumer market. So here is my testimonial that I witnessed myself firsthand. My son has an iphone and he left it on the dash as we were headed out of town for a long weekend. I had to stop for gas in Sarasota and we were in a bit of a hurry. We were leaving the gas station at the intersection of Fruitville and Cattleman (see picture) and my son had rolled down the window. As I was turning East to get back on Interstate 75, his cell phone slid out of the window into the middle of the intersection. When I say in the middle of the intersection it was smack dab in the middle of the intersection. I turned around to see if I could get back there before it was rolled over by a car but when I got back there, I realized that if I tried to walk out there I would be killed because it was so centered that at any one time, traffic was driving over that area. It was rush hour traffic (around 5pm) and there was no break in the traffic. From the picture you can see it was 6 lanes of traffic or more from any direction. At this point, all I could see was the case getting rolled over and over by cars going in each direction. It looked like Mexican jumping bean as trucks and cars of all sizes just rolled over it. I decided to give up on it since I was in a hurry and because I was convinced that no phone could withstand a 2 to 5 ton rollover once if not more than once. But I looked up the find iphone app and to my surprise it was still getting a signal. I called the sheriff to help me hoping that they would arrive soon, but after seeing the sheriff drive by three times, and an hour passing by all I could see was hope flashing by. The phone was rolled over and bounced from side to side at least 500 times if not more in the hour it took for the sheriff to come. When they came and picked up the phone, they couldn't believe it that the phone was still working. I expected the glass to be shattered and the phone severely scratched but when I took it out of the case, the phone was as good as new. The case looked like it had gone thru a war zone, fully scratched, cracked and broken but the phone was unscathed!! It was unbelievable. I've attached photos of the case and the phone after the ordeal. This case is big and bulky but it did exactly what it was supposed to do and it is worth every penny. I realize people want skinny and small cases, and this case is big and bulky but I wouldn't use anything but this. I am heartbroken that Otterbox discontinued this case but maybe they'll reconsider because this case is AMAZING!! I saw firsthand what it did to protect my investment and it did exactly that. This is a must buy if you are looking for something to really protect your investment.
