I had previously purchased a raised bed garden which required no tools and just slid into slots.Did not last 2 seasons as it was not all that stable. This bed is made of finished high quality wood and is very well put together. Now for the good and bad news. It comes with 2 large bags of wood screws,over 50 of them. Although not mentioned in the description ,I am ok with this as it results in a bed That is rock solid. One big caution though: The holes are pre-drilled for the screws except for the part that they go into. The screws will start to strip as it gets near the end. The solution is to drill a pilot hole first as the wood is very hard ,then you should have no problem inserting them.(only need to do this for legs) You get what you pay for, spend a few extra dollars for this and you will have a great one.
