Was looking for something to bring on vacation with us for my off the charts tall 14 month old. Had (now gone) a pack-n-play for my older boys (8 & 5). Also have the summer infant play yard (round), but is too big to bring/pack for a 2 week trip (great for quick overnight trips in hotels to keep contained/sleep). I researched travel/portable cribs and came across this one. Read reviews from here and Walmart and saw the more expensive versions at buy buy baby. Went with this (3rd kid, didn’t want to spend a ton!) Lightweight, easy to set up and take down, and mesh sides and crib as a whole is durable! The mattress is thick enough and it clicks into each side to hold it down (nice for curious kids who would pull this apart!) Not sure who said this was a pain to put together? It’s not the $300 or more version that you just push a button..that’s why you’re paying the extra money (or my tip, register for that expensive stuff!) When you’re on your 3rd kid and know how fast they grow out of all these things..spend less than the $100, take the 3 minutes to click the 4 poles in, and be happy. :)
