Video shows the difference between my XPS laptop speakers and the Panda gogroove on maximum volume. In this video, it is powered by usb and the built-in 3.5mm plug barely reaches the headphone jack. Sound: Nice and undistorted. Bass is very good for its size. Treble is a tad "Concert Hall" sounding. Connection: 3.5mm regular headphone jack, cord is less than a foot long and wraps around the panda for storage. Power: Either usb cable (standard mini-B, included) or 3 AAA batteries (1.5v only) Switches: On/Off switch, volume dial Design: Round with flat bottom, size and weight similar to an orange. Eyes are the speakers. Has a little mouth thats hard to see. Blue light turns on under mouth when powered on. This little panda got high remarks when I gave it as part of a birthday surprise for my gf. The cord is a little short, otherwise I highly recommend this panda for a cute, adorable speaker. Too bad they didn't make the mouth clearly visible, perhaps even in a shouting expression, so that it will seem like the panda is singing your songs!
