We had another brand of electrical stimulation device that ate AAA batteries like crazy! This one holds a charge for several hours of use and it's wonderful not to have to continually buy batteries to keep using it. It came with a set of 6 pads that really adhere well to your skin and are larger in size than our previous device. I really like the little smooth pad that was provided to place 2 of the pads on when not being used. It's so much better than the thin plastic sheet that came with our other one. This has 6 modes and the little booklet that came with the device covered some of the areas we like to treat. I use it almost exclusively for carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and it really helps to use the device when my CTS is bothering me. I also love the size of this device, as it's quite small and will fit into your pocket and you can walk around while using it with no problem. I finally figured out that I could run the cord inside my clothes while wearing it to prevent the cord catching on drawer pulls, etc, when I'm up and around when wearing it. LA DUH! It's quite powerful, and neither myself or my husband have been able to turn it up very high during use, so there's lots of room for adjustments if needed. We love this little thing and we had no problem operating it after just skimming the instructions. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an electrical stimulation device for home use.
